About Artwork

So, you’ve decided on your promotional item, and now it’s time to decorate it with your logo or message. For the best result, we recommend you provide your artwork as a vector file.
Vector Files
Vector files are unlike other file formats such as JPEG, PNG or GIF that use pixels to define an area and can be easily resized without losing image quality. Vector files use lines and shapes to define an area and allow for greater manipulation of the file. They also remain smooth at the edges regardless of how large (or small) you make them, whereas other file formats, commonly known as bitmap or raster image files, can become jagged or pixelated when up-scaled.
The most common vector image file extensions are .ai (Adobe Illustrator), .cdr (Corel Draw) and .eps (Encapsulated Postscript). If you’d like help creating a vector file to decorate your product, contact the Wizid Promotions design team by clicking here.
Bitmap images are comprised of pixels in a grid. Each pixel or ‘bit’ of the image contains information about the color to be displayed. Bitmap images have a fixed resolution and cannot be resized without losing image quality. Common bitmap formats are JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG and BMP. Most bitmap images can be converted to other bitmap formats very easily.
What if you don’t have a vector file?
First, don’t sweat it. A bitmap file and can be used to create a  vector file. There may be a charge depending on requirement.

So what does it mean to indent a product, and how can I benefit from it?
In terms of promotional premiums, Indent refers to the supply of product, in most cases, from the principal manufacturer. With indenting, customers have the opportunity for input into just about any part a products overall manufacture. Indenting gives customers a level of control over product design, material choice and decoration technique for each and every component of the manufacturing process – and often at greatly reduced prices.

For a cap, this could mean the choice of material and piping used in the caps construction, the type of button used at the crown of the cap, the securing device on the rear of the cap and of course the lining and care instruction found inside the cap. Everything can be branded to make this cap completely unique to you, your employees and customers.
If you’d like a promotional product that is truly unique, why not call and speak to one of the friendly Wizid team on 02 43 519 566 to discuss your requirements.
